Programs
In Forest Health Tracker, data can be submitted not only by individuals but by "Programs". "Programs" are an individual unit that represents all or a portion of the data set of an organization. For example, at Washington Department of Natural Resources data sets are uploaded into Forest Health Tracker by individual "Programs" in our agency including Service Forestry program's Landowner Assistance which works with small forest landowners and State Trust Lands that manage a specific portion of our state lands.
Below you will see each Organization and Program that provides data sets into Forest Health Tracker. If you click on the name of a Program you will see information on where the data comes from (source of record), how often updates in Forest Health Tracker are made, how the data fields are mapped from the source data into the system, and all projects in the system related to that program. You can also download a table and simple location geodatabase for each program. Future upgrades aim to make download of the full geodatabase for each program possible.
For all data in eastern Washington, DNR ensures that our treatment tracking mapping is consistent between Forest Health Tracker and all reporting for the 20-Year Forest Health Plan. Our eastern Washington treatment tracking methodology and treatment crosswalk is maintained on Box, and revised as neccessary.
