Non-commercial vegetation treatment
Forest restoration thinning using ICO method. Project will treat approximately 190 acres of high priority units. Goals include restoring forest structure toward historic structure and composition in order to benefit multiple plant and wildlife species. In addition to these primary objectives, it will reduce large fuels, ladder fuels, and help to improve resistance to insects and pathogens.
Prescribed burning within meadow habitat and edges to enhance and restore native meadow communities and rare plant populations.
