Prescribed burning within forest and meadow habitats to enhance and restore native communities and rare plant populations.
Forest restoration thinning using ICO method. Project will treat approximately 350 acres. Goals include restoring forest structure toward historic structure and composition in order to benefit multiple plant and wildlife species. In addition to these primary objectives, it will reduce large fuels, ladder fuels, and help to improve resistance to insects and pathogens.
