Prescribed fire treatment
The Mount Adams Resource Stewards (MARS) is hosting the inaugural Columbia Gorge Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX) in the fall of 2023. This project will be the first TREX hosted in the area and will provide participants an opportunity to apply prescribed fire skills on multiple jurisdictions over a two-week time period. These funds will support MARS and subcontractor staff time as well as event logistics.
