Note:		In 2021, the legislature passed HB 1168 which included direction to establish the Wildfire Response, Forest Restoration, and Community Resilience Account and fund it at $125 million per biennium through 2027-2029. In the 2023 Washington Legislative session, the legislature passed ESSB 5187 - the 2023-2025 operating budget. This budget included an authorization to spend out of the Wildfire Response, Forest Restoration, and Community Resilience Account up to $118,115,000 but the same bill only authorized transfer of $89,806,000 into the account ($44,903,000 for fiscal year 2024 and $44,903,000 for fiscal year 2025, although funds in the account can be spent across the biennium). In the 2024 legislative session, the legislature passed ESSB 5950- 2024 Supplemental Budget that amended the previous budget to now provide total authorization to spend up to $120,277,000 and transfer a total of $108,949,000 into the account.
