Basics
This priority landscape includes all of the San Juan Islands plus Whidbey Island. Through our 2020 Forest Action Plan analyses this area ranked as a priority where investments and active management can improve forest health and resilience including the high number of small forest landowners, drought vulnerability, and high values in fish and wildlife habitat, ecosystems of concern, and timber volume.
