Project Themes

Washington Department of Natural Resources utilized the Good Neighbor Authority to assist in implementation within this project. In state fiscal year 2020 2 contracts were awarded to Summitt Forestry for 956 acres of non-commercial fuels work, while an additional contract was awarded to Ecklund Excavation for 101 acres of non-commercial fuels reduction. Then, in the 2021-2023 state biennium funds were provided to implement House Bill 1168 through a GNA contract that completed 4,012 acres of non-commercial fuels work.
